Youth and School Groups
At 1000 islands kayaking, we have a special focus on youth!
If you are a school group or a youth organization, our day trips are a great, hassle-free opportunity to get on the water. Groups between eight to 64 participants qualify for our special group rates.
Learning by doing is what experiential education is all about. 1000 Islands Kayaking provides a complete program based, fun, outdoor leadership experience that develops qualities needed for tomorrow’s leaders. Participants will be challenged physically, emotionally, and spiritually to promote character building through leadership development.
Build strong teams with 1000 Islands Kayaking!
The 1000 Islands Kayaking has a beautiful space that we would like to share with your company for the day. It includes quiet bays and inlets, Thousand Islands National Parks and a comfortable sea kayak to let your spirit paddle free. Sharing a fun day on the water will do wonders for your team!
We will provide you with high end touring kayaks, the necessary safety gear, professional guides, instruction, and best of all — a gourmet island lunch.
Social And Specialized Groups
If you are a member or co-ordinator for a social club or organization our day and overnight trips are a great, hassle free opportunity to get on the water. Groups between 8 to 36 participants qualify for special group rates.
If you have a special occasion or are just looking for a unique way to get together for an active, fun and memorable experience, give us a call to discuss your plans. We can build a custom program for your group that meets your timeline and purpose of the trip.
Looking for a beautiful way to spend summer evenings during the paddling season?
Sunset Paddle is a recreational club for local paddlers. We meet at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays in Gananoque for a two- to three-hour sunset cruise. In the summer, we leave the docks by 6 pm. In the fall, we will aim for 5:30 pm to make the most of the daylight hours.
No membership fees apply. Simply rent a kayak or bring your own boat and a guide will be available for any questions and direction. Once off the water, we encourage you to stick around and support the local businesses, while enjoying the company of new and old friends.
