Looking for a beautiful way to spend the summer?
Paddle and Pint is a recreational club for local paddlers. We meet at 5:30 pm on Wednesdays in Gananoque for a two- to three-hour sunset cruise. In the summer, we leave the docks by 6 pm. In the fall, we will aim for 5:30 pm to make the most of the daylight hours.
No membership fees apply. Simply rent a kayak or bring your own boat and a guide will be available for any questions and direction. All participants are required to fill out a medical form and waiver at the front office, each season.
Once off the water, we will head to a local pub for appetizers and frosty beverages. We encourage you to stick around and support the local businesses, while enjoying the company of new and old friends.
The recreational club is not limited to paddling in the Admiralty Islands. If any club member or volunteer would like to arrange a special outing to a different paddling location, log onto our Facebook page and propose a trip plan. 1000 Islands Kayaking can help transport equipment for a minimal fee and support exploring different rivers and lakes in our backyard playground.
The Paddle and Pint recreational club is a volunteer-supported, non-profit community program. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer, please contact our office for details. Volunteers must commit to a full training schedule, attain specific certifications and schedule a minimum number of tripping hours throughout the season. A diverse leadership team is needed to continue this community program and we look forward to hearing from you.
