Learn the most effiicient self rescue going.... it's a great party trick too!
Inuit paddler's first starting using the kayak roll as a means of survival as the waters they were paddling were extremely cold and ending up out of your kayak in the water was not an option. The roll has progressed over the years and is by far the most efficient self rescue. While working in small groups students will learn the progression of the roll and work towards a consistent and confident roll. Students should come into this course with an efficent self rescue and be comfortable with the wet exit.

- Detect & correct techniques

Cancellation Policy for Paddle Canada Certification Programs:
1000 Islands Kayaking will operate within the Paddle Canada Program guidelines and offer the Rolling Clinic with a 1 instructor to 6 participant ratio. Due to the logistics and planning for our certification programs, we are unable to provide a refund, if cancellation occurs within 15 days or less, of the intended program. If a replacement for the program is found or for cancellations of more than 15 days, a refund less a 25% administration fee, will be issued.
Please understand that even if you have a sudden medical problem or family emergency, we will not be able to provide the 75% refund, without a replacement for the program, unless more than 15 days are given.
Our Certification Programs will operate rain or shine, with lots of water time and some classroom elements.
If 1000 Islands Kayaking cancels a program due to weather or insufficient registration, we will offer to alter your dates, free of charge, or provide you with a full refund.
