No boat? No problem! Let us take you to your 1000 Islands river destination!

Our boat shuttle service allows people without on-water transportation to enjoy and explore the 1000 Islands, with family and friends. Whether you want to spend a weekend camping with family on one of the National Park Islands, or you would like to enjoy your day on the beach at Leek Island—we have an option that will work for you. Adventure in the 1000 Islands this summer and leave the boating to us!

At 1000 Islands Kayaking, we want you to get the most of the river this summer because it’s a great place to be! Picnicking with your family at Macdonald Island, exploring wildlife at Beau Rivage, or soaking up the sun on a kayaking adventure through the islands. Want to rent a kayak for your camping adventure but don’t have enough room for all your gear? We will help in any way we can, to ensure you leave the 1000 Islands smiling! Our boat shuttle service requires pre-registration and runs from our dock at the Gananoque Harbor.

Shuttle schedule

The boat shuttle can only be guaranteed, to be operating, when booked at least 48 hours in advance. If you request a booking, with less than 48 hours notice, we may be able to arrange for the shuttle, but cannot guarantee it’s availability. The shuttle will depart and return to our facility in Gananoque, during our hours of operation, between 9 am and 5 pm.

Basic shuttle cost:   $65.00 (one way) $125.00 (round trip)

A minimum of two people are required to run a shuttle, with a maximum of six people per boat per shuttle time slot. Pricing is per boat in the Admiralty and Lake Fleet Cluster. If an additional boat is needed, you will be charged the gear shuttle fee again.

  • Round-trip to the destination of your choice, between Ivy Lea and Gananoque
  • Lifejacket
  • Scattered time slots for your convenience
  • Safe ride from an experienced driver
  • Bringing any gear you may have with you
  • Knowledgeable staff to help guide and advise you on activities to do within the Islands

Gear shuttle cost: $85.00 ( one way), $170.00 ( round-trip)

Gear shuttles include:

  • Round-trip for your gear to the destination of your choice, between Ivy Lea and Gananoque
  • Scattered time slots for your convenience
  • Staff to drop off, transport and ensure your gear is safe at your campsite for your arrival

Camping gear rentals are available at $55/night, based on two people.

Please note our cancellation policies include…
  • If 1000 Islands Kayaking cancels a shuttle for any reason, you will receive a 100% refund on your trip or you may choose to be transferred to another trip date. We will cancel trips for dangerous conditions based on our discretion.
  • 25% administration fee will be kept regardless of the reason if you cancel a shuttle.
  • Please refer to your confirmation email for further review of our policies.

PLEASE NOTE: We DO NOT have parking specific to our facility. Parking is available along residential streets ( Main Street,John street, and South street) free of charge. A public parking lot ( overnight and day parking)can be found at 760 Stone Street for a fee ( Paid with the Honk Mobile app, $8.00 per day, or $25.00 for the weekend). Please note this parking lot requires a taxi to get to our facility.  Parking can also be found at the Gananoque Municipal Marina for daily and overnight parking, there is a fee at this lot.
