Adventure Kayak Camp ages 12–15

1000 Islands kayking, adventure camp, kids campThe Adventure Kayak Camp program, for ages 12 to 15, is designed to facilitate independence and good judgment within the sport of kayaking. Participants will have the opportunity to explore several kayaking routes in our area and practice their leadership skills in trip planning, navigation and risk assessment.

We develop skills that can be transferred beyond the sport of kayaking so youth can start making critical decisions based on good judgment. Kids will develop a deeper appreciation for the unique ecology and history of our region through personal encounters on our National Park Islands and historical sites.

For younger kids, check out our Discovery Kayak Camp for ages 7–11.

Cancellation policy for kids kayak camp programs

In order to encourage a quality experience for our campers, 1000 Islands Kayaking insists on a ratio of one instructor to six campers. The maximum number of participants for the kids kayak camp programs is 12 campers, per week. Due to this limit, we are unable to provide a refund if cancellation occurs within 15 days or less, of the intended week of camp. If a replacement for the program is found or for cancellations of more than 15 days, a refund less a 25% administration fee, will be issued.

Please understand that even if you have a sudden medical problem or family emergency, we will not be able to provide the 75% refund, without a replacement for the program, unless more than 15 days are given.

Our kids kayak camp programs operate rain or shine, with lots of water based and land based activities.

Registration: Please contact the office directly at 613-329-6265 to book your tour and provide your payment details. Submitting a request IS NOT confirmation of a booking.
