The most rewarding and refreshing way to experience the 1000 Islands!

1000 Islands Kayaking is excited to provide you with nationally certified guides for a multitude of kayaking programs, from day tours to camping to skills courses.

Our Gananoque location is only minutes off Hwy 401 and smack in the middle of Ottawa, Toronto and Montreal. Our kayak tours are ideal for a quick get-away. You’ll start enjoying the river in no time!

Hours of Operations: 7 days a week from 9am- 5pm until October 10th. Weekends only from October 10th- 23rd. Open for reservations during the week.

Our leisurely adventures of this historically charming and ecologically rich area are the best ways to experience the river and islands. Paddle with the wildlife and reconnect with our living landscape, your partners and yourself. The 1000 Islands region is an integral part of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere Reserve, a member of the UNESCO World Network of Biosphere Reserves. Above all, it offers world class sea kayaking for all levels of paddlers and we can’t wait to get you out there!

Our kayaking tours are designed with beginners in mind! Practically everyone can participate in day trips, lessons and specialty programs. Our guides are professionals, our instruction is excellent, the food is fabulous, and the equipment is top-notch.
